D.J Barnes, M.S., B.B.A., B.A. Co-Owner Email: don@paraserv.org Don has a B.A. in Communications and Psychology, B.B.A. in Human Resource Management, and Master of Science in Forensic Psychology with Mental Health Applications. Don’s experience comes from working with individuals who had a wide range of disabilities. Furthermore, Don has experience working in the vocational field under a grant through DHS and DRS for people with Serious and Persistent Mental Illness. Finally, Don served in the capacity of Executive Director for a non profit waiver services provider, overseeing the closure of an ICF/MR, transitioning the clients to Waiver Programs. Under Don’s direction the non profit grew from operating four homes to operating eight homes. The entire process gave Don the knowledge of working with various funding streams. Don is currently a member of the American Psychological Association and the Minnesota Psychological Association. Don is also a member of the Phi Chi Organization. |

Rosie Barnes, B.A., LSW, Co-Owner Email: rosie@paraserv.org Rosie is a Licensed Social Worker with a broad area of knowledge. Rosie graduated from the College of St. Benedicts in St. Joseph, MN. Rosie has worked with various populations of disabled adults. |

Jennifer Romanchuk, Program Director Email: jennifer@paraserv.org Jennifer’s expertise is in mental health case management. Jennifer has a Masters Degree in Counseling and worked for 5 years for one of the most innovative counties in Minnesota when it comes to Mental Health Services -Wright County. Jennifer is our Wright County Program Director, her responsibilities include overseeing all of our Wright County programs and case management. |

Terrol Ferguson, Senior Program Director and Designated Coordinator Email: terrol@paraserv.org Terrol has over 17 years experience working in residential care settings in both direct care and supervisory roles. Through Minot State University, she completed the Developmental Disabilities Curriculum Requirements as established by the Dakota State Council of Developmental Disabilities of the State of North Dakota. Terrol also has experience working with children diagnosed with Autism. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from St. Cloud State University. Terrol’s programs are in Mille-Lacs County, Sherburne County, Anoka County, and Hennepin County. |

Nancy Barnes, Financial Coordinator Email: nancy@paraserv.org Nancy has tremendous experience in financial concerns that may face consumers and has worked closely with County and State Employees to advocate and resolve financial issues. Nancy is instrumental in working with clients to manage their housing cost. Nancy serves to train staff on the process of SSI, RSDI, and GRH. Nancy is a strong advocate for consumer financial services. |

Meredith Athman, Assistant Director to the Program Directors Email: meredith@paraserv.org Meredith has over 12 years of experience working with adults diagnosed with mental illness and/or have experienced a traumatic brain injury. Meredith began working with Paradigm Residential Services as a direct care staff, giving her knowledge of the unique operations of an adult foster care program. Meredith has been a dedicated employee of Paradigm Residential Services, Inc., giving her the title of one of our longest employed team member. Meredith has a Certificate in the Administrative Specialist Program through Anoka Technical College. Meredith is expanding her knowledge, working towards her A.A.S. in the Community Social Program. Meredith has had extensive training in administration of psychotropic medications as they relate to State of Minnesota Statutes. Meredith now works as an assistant to the Program Directors, overseeing with them the operation of our adult foster care programs. |

Cyndi Ramstad, Human Resource Manager Email: cyndi@paraserv.org Cyndi has 20 years experience in residential and private settings working with various disabilities. She has a son who has had Mental Health Issues for the last nine years, and a daughter who has suffered from a Traumatic Brain Injury for the last ten years following an accident. Cyndi also has five years experience as a Certified CPR/First Aid Instructor with three years experience as an EMT. |

Kerry Homstad, R.N. Email: kerry@paraserv.org Kerry is our newest addition. Her 22 years as an RN is diversified yet focused on mental health. Kerry has worked 13 years working with people with mental health issues who have been hospitalized. Furthermore, she has worked 1 year as a traveling Psych nurse, 2 years as a geriatric nurse, 2 years in medical and surgical nursing and 2 years as a triage nurse. While Kerry brings great skill to our agency, her spirit and enthusiasm are contagious. She has a passion for what we do. We are proud to have her on staff. |

Noel Cahalan, Receptionist Email: noel@paraserv.org Noel was recently added to our office staff and works answering phones mon,tue,thur,fri. Her responsibilities also include on-line grocery ordering for the homes as well as maintaining everyday office operations. Noel brings with her knowledge of working with persons with mental health issues and various other medical and or disability related concerns. Her spirit and attitude has been a great addition to our office team. |

IN MEMORY OF Teresa Eckdahl, Quality Control Coordinator Teresa was taken suddenly from our presence on December 18, 2006 due to a car accident. Teresa was instrumental in training staff, and the quality control of our programs. Her expertise, humor, and dedication to her consumers and her fellow staff will be greatly missed by this agency and it’s clients. Teresa was a shining light for those in darkness. David Bartholomaus – Maintenance Supervisor
David is the full time “do it all” maintenance supervisor. On a typical day, you will find David fixing appliances, making repairs to homes, to even hanging a picture for a client. Our twelve programs rely heavily on Dave’s maintenance knowledge. Dave also serves as a liaison for the various vendors that work within our programs conducting repairs. Finally, Dave oversees staff in lawn maintenance, storm clean-up, and snow removal. |
